HINT:

Just because the equation has distribution in it, doesn't mean you have to distribute.
For instance, instead of doing this:
2(3x + 4) = 20
6x + 8 = 20
6x = 12
x = 2
Do this instead
2(3x + 4) = 20
(3x + 4) = 10    [Divide both sides by 2]
3x = 6
x=2
This trick REALLY helps out when dealing with fractions.

A REMINDER ABOUT FRACTIONS:

To get rid of a fractional coefficient, multiply by the reciprocal.
For instance:
2/3 x = 10
3/2(2/3x) = 3/2 (10)    [Treat 10 like 10/1]
x = 30/2                    [3/2 and 2/3 cancel each other out]
x = 15
